My iphone 4 had a cracked screen where is a good place to get the screen fixed and which is affordable 

affordable...the cheapest route is to buy a replacement screen on ebay and do it yourself. The replacement screens come with the tools you need and instructions. As long as you or someone you know is comfortable taking apart your phone that's the cheapest route.
