Please share your experiences - both good and bad - with sending your child to MFP. I am debating whether I am going to send my daughter there or elsewhere. She will be entering Kindergarden in the fall and will probably attend MFP for both K and first grade. I am doing all the required research (tours, talking to the teachers, etc) but also want real life experiences and opinions from the trenches. :) If you are more comfortable you can PM me. Thanks!

My kids went to MFP for almost 4 years. I read a lot of bad reviews on the internet and I was hesitant to send them there. That being said, I literally cried when I had to take them out of this school. All 3 of my kids had the best experiences there and the education they received was awesome. My youngest was in Pre-K and K there. Both of the teachers she had are awesome. The communication with the teachers and the lead teacher was great. I never really needed to speak to the principal about anything so I can't say how good she is about getting back to parents. My husband has been active duty for 20+ years and this school is definitely in the top 2 schools my children have attended and they've attended more than a few (our oldest is 17). Good luck! :D

The last time I looked MFP (along with San Onofre) was the highest rated school on base. My oldest went there for kindergarten and a little bit of first and I was happy with it. He transferred to an even better school and I could see the difference, but not to a point that I think there is anything lacking at Mary Fay. When I had a child there I was very impressed with how well they handled the unique needs of the students as well as the extremely high student turnover rate.

They are and they have a great teacher student ratio, my soon has been going for 3 years and we are pleased with the curriculum and teachers.

I haven't had any complaints... all three of my children go there.
