Lat moves and all that jaz?

My husband works on the flight line (fapped out right now to help with promotion) and wants to lat move to PMO. This probably wouldn't be asked... but his Career Planner is at school until who knows when, and I can't seem to find any info!

So any wives of husbands who have lat moved, in the process, or someone who can give me some general info.
