Ok I feel so pathetic doing this. But I moved out here a year ago and have not met anyone (friends I mean) my neighbors are the kind that don't look at you or if you say hi they look and knod their head. whenever my husband has a family day I talk to someone for a few min then nothing else. I don't get much time to socialize much with women my age because of my 2 boys or they think their sh*t don't stink.
Well just found out my husband is deploy and I would like to make some friends out here before he leaves tho.

I always said I wouldn't be one of those people posting to find friends but I guess its the only way I can right now. I'm 21 have 2 boys a 2 yr old and a 2 month old. Moved around a lot so not from one particular place but I call NJ my home .

How are you enjoying Cali for Jersey? I think its a place that kind of grows on you. Wives here are kinda cliquey but I think you have that everywhere. 

My husband was born in Newark, my mother in law lives in Belleville....he wants to do recruiting out of the Bloomfield office..I'm from here, but I loved shopping in downtown Newark and jersey gardens.... 

I miss the outlets in Tinton Falls... and Manhattan!! Sigh.. Oh, well bought a house here, we are gonna be here for a while. 

Oh I know! I miss hopin on the train and being in manhattan in 30 mins. Wives here are very clique but you will have that every where. But I do miss dunkin and real italian food! I'm glad they are opening a dunkin on base next month! So excited about that. 

Wait !!! What D&D on base ??? I guess I will actually have to venture from the far end of Fallbrook to get coffee before working up in Temecula :) hehe

Yup, I know where Morrisontown and Madison are up off the 287 is. I grew up down by the shore but drove everywhere :)

Hey im 19, been here for about 9 months and definitely agree meeting fun girls out here is so hard especially since im not working. We don't have any kids but im definitely not the type to not want them around, or to go do things with them. If youd like to talk or meet up sometime feel free to pm me :)

I am not at pendleton yet (coming from Okinawa in June) but I also hail from the Garden State! Lived in Teaneck (bergen county) all my life until i got married to the Marine Corps. I miss the diners, GOOD pizza and bagels and chinese food!!!! 

Oh you know what I am kinda have tempted to have a get together for us jersey girls..maybe all of us go get our nails done or something? What do you ladies think?

I need to get a mani/pedi. There are two places that are pretty decent that aren't totally expensive, LV Nails.

I'd be game for either one. Unless someone knows a really good spa. 

I usually go to happiness nails by walmart who much does lv nails charge? 

Not sure. But they weren't bad.
