Last week it happened 7 times in one day and its out again.. I live in south mesa 1 does anyone know why 

Rain? Wind? 

I called sdge and they said it was an overhead power line. Also said it won't be restored until 8pm. 

Because you really do get what you pay for.
Silly base power outages! 

Yeah it has been happening for days. I called sdge they said they are working on the problem and current restoration time is 8:00pm 

What would we do if we never come back on?! thats a discussion my husband and I have everytime it goes out lol. I didn't mind the past 15 times (exaggerated lol) it went out but this time, I had just thrown a meatloaf in the oven, needless to say I had to have a back up dinner plan. Plus side of having the power out is it gets the family together without all the Tvs, games, computers to distract everyone. we played a board game while waiting for it to come on :) 

Although I would much rather have the power on, it is kinda of nice without it(in short periods of time) We read books and finger painted :) 

SDG&E website says it is a problem with the overhead electrical system but my husband had read they are replaciover er 100 bulb things at the power plant...
