Last night we didnt get home till around midnight and the car in front of us got stopped going in the gate. They immediately started doing a sobriety test on the driver, pulled the passenger out and took her in the building, and did a body check on the back passenger. They were pulling packets of ready to sale/distribute drugs out of every pocket he had. The pile was over flowing by the time they got done..... My point of sharing ALL this is to hopefully make other parents aware of how unsafe it is for our teens out here on base. I know of a teen that has been offered drugs several times by other teens that live here. Its scary to think about what goes on in the actual high school. 

How did you see all of this? Did they make you wait behind the car or something?

We were the next car.. Could hear and see everything. I know drugs are here on base and in most other places, but i must admit that lastnight was an eye opener for us. We didnt realize how BAD it really was out here vrs where we came from.

They also manufacture it on the base. We lived a few houses down from a meth lab in 29, on the base. I remember a thread on here about a lab being busted on Camp Pen. Drugs are every where, its educate your children. 

Unless you spent the entire time watching the complete SFST test and watched them start on the paperwork BEFORE they searched, I'm sure you don't know the full details.
So you sat there watching the FRISK?

You watched each 'pile' get inventoried?
Even then, where is it your place to place an assumption like this?

teens? Worry just as much about how many Marines on base getting busted daily for Spice and other drugs. 

Well I know of someone selling on base. Not personally, but I know what area on base you can get illegal drugs. SMH

Yes we were made to sit in our car and WAIT for them to frisk the guy with the drugs and see the pile of 'goods', heard them call it in, and watched them hand cuff him.. Both women were staggering and speech slurred..Now, having seen all this and heard the officers talking, ummmm it doesnt take much to draw a good conclusion that is logical. 

Was the driver drunk/high entering base? What an idiot if so. You should really remain sober if you have a bunch of drugs on you or in your car. 

riotgrrl, I can only assume that the driver was drunk or something. They did the sobriety(sp?) test right in front of us and wouldnt let her even move her car to the lot beside the gate afterwards. An officer moved it. As she was showed into the little building she was staggering and ranting in a slurred speech. 

lol well what an idiot then. Not that getting on base with drugs is a good thing, but c'mon now. You think someone would have more common sense.
