I used the search bar and didn't find the answer I need.

So I have PCOS and conceived my son through Walter Reeds Infertility clinic with clomid and IUI. Now we want another child so I went through my PCM and was referred to NH for a consult. They referred me to Balboa's infertility clinic but now I just got my Referral letter in the mail and they denied me Balboa because they are to busy to see me. Triwest approved me to be seen by a civilian infertility specialist Sanjay K Agarwal, MD, FCCP in La Jolla. My question is has anyone been seen by a civilian for IUI and had the cost covered? I am afraid we are going to have to pay for treatments out of pocket and since each cycle is around $7k we would never be able to afford it. I am so devastated.

You can be seen at NHCP for infertility and even IUI. With the IUI, you would have to pay for the semen prep for IUI out in town but it should only cost about $100. As

Ask you PCM for a referral to OBGYN at NHCP.

I was already seen at NHCP infertility doctor they referred me out and said they couldn't help me either.

I've only done IVF since my tubes are not attached. I know several women who have used Dr. Coffler for IUI but I do not no how much they spent. Sorry. He does however know a lot about our insurance and what Tricare covers. I would email him all your questions. He responds quickly. Tell him you are a military (if you are) and he gives us a discount. He matched my IVF with what NTC costs me my first cycle..

you can do your own research and choose the dr you want to go to as long as the accept triwest. then you go to your PCM and tell them that you want a referral to that DR. thats what I do bc if you leave it up to tricare you will run circles.try san diego perinatal. all the drs are awesome.
