Found dog in Stuart Mesa on Fryman COurt. He looks like he is a brown lab mix? Has no tags but has a metal collar and leash still on. I have him tied to my porch right now because he was running the road. Please call or text me if he is yours or know where he belongs. Can send pics through text. 760-637-9780

Had to call animal control. I couldn't keep him here. He dug up my yard around my porch :/

I just want to thank you on behalf of all pet owners. Most people wouldn't put in the effort that you did. I always stop when I see an unleashed dog by roads :)

Aww thanks! I have lost a dog before, and the people who found her were nice enough to keep her in their home, and it was winter time in Michigan, and she was a teacup Maltese so there is no way she would have survived outside! So I could only hope that if the dog is friendly that people would do the same!

I totally agree! I was actually on the way to go walk a dog for a client today and I saw a little dog running around an small intersection. By the time I pulled over to see if it had a tag with a number I could call, it was already outside a home barking up a storm. I rang the bell and asked if that was their dog and they said yes. I told them that the dog was running out on the street and I just wanted to make sure they didn't get run over and they were like "Oh, ok. Thanks"....kinda like it was no big deal. I would be a HUGE deal to me if one of my pets got ran over. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me in the past two weeks. It's as if some people just don't care :(

After I saw your post last night, I checked PYS and there was a lost lab in Stuart Mesa listed. I texted the number on the post and asked them if they found their dog. They're response was "y". I told them that I saw online that someone found a dog in Stuart Mesa but never got a response. The ad has been taken down since then, so I'm sure they found their dog....but I was still a little offended by their response. I was trying to help them out...geez.

I'm not sure why you seem to want to post that my response was why? I responded that someone linked me to the ad here, and that I would be headed to animal control in the morning. I messaged her privately and she let me know that it was indeed my dog, and since then he is already back with us. Maybe you didnt think the owner was on this forum, but dont make it seem like I didn't care. I told every person that told me about this post, thank you or that I had already made contact with someone about my dog.

Well I told you about the post and I never got a thank you...but no worries. I took time out my day to help you, I hope you understand that.

O.O - All I know is that my dog means so much to me. If he were lost I would never stop looking. I'm just thankful that someone took time to keep the dog safe, and the dog was safely returned to his family.
