I am debating getting a dress online cause i keep finding some cute ones! But I don't know how to tell dress size... I wear a size 7-8 pants.. so would that be a 7-8 dress size? 

Most websites have a sizing chart that applies specifically to their clothing. I would check that and measure just to be sure! 

I personally wear a dress size that is about 2 sizes bigger than my pants size because my chest is larger and I have narrower hips.

When in doubt, get the bigger size. Its easier to have it taken in than let out. :) 

I wear a size smaller dress then I do pants. It really depends on your body shape though. I'd definitely go off the measurements on the size chart.
