I'm sure you can but why would you. It's painful for the dog
My dog had to have surgery on a nail to remove part of it and it took months for the foot to heal. He might have to have the nail removed now but we are trying to save his nail
my daughter keeps scratching me Can I declaw her?!?!
Lol, I know, I have to wait for my son to fall asleep before I can clip his nails. They grow so fast and he has scratched me so many times on accident.
Oh em gee. Declawing any animal is just absurd imo.
See, I have heard about cats so that I guess wouldn't have the same shock factor since I have never heard of any one declawing a dog. I have heard of getting the little side claws removed on Pugs so they wont scratch their eyes, but that's it.
Take her to petco or petsmart have them do it. They will get the nails shorter.
Also if you remove the nails they will grow back unless part of toe bone is removed so it is very painful for the dog once he is out of surgery. My puppy went through nail surgery once before because he had a growth that needed to be removed and mow he might need his nail removed because the grow back. The first surgery it took 2 months for his foot/toe to heal. So it's not an easy surgery at all.

Sometimes he will sit still for me, sometimes he wont, I just find it easier to wait until he falls asleep, lol.
