we had been dating for years he went to war and came back mentally unstable and since he was he took the news of the pregnancy so well he seems normal then i lost the baby then he snapped one morning and hit me with a frying pan and it was all down hill from there cuz after our wedding night he forced himself on me then beat me after and it continued almost every day 

So this has to be complete bs. If hes a Capt and you picked up rank and are now allowed to be with him that would mean you would have to be an officer now.
