OKay....so this is a long shot. LOL I went crazy and bought my son a FULL size bed. It is beautiful...all blue and light brown. It is a platform bed with four drawers and the drawers even have little soccer ball and baseballs for the handles. I paid 1500 for the whole set in his room. All sports. This bed is in the way in our small home more than anything. At the time we were thinking..."oh this will be good to get a big bed in case of family visits and company..yada yada" well it's a bad idea. My kiddo takes up about an inch of the bed when he sleeps and when he plays he is having to playing around it. UGH...I paid so much and now want to sell or trade for a TWIN. Just light wood twin bed. Anyone interested in this NEW full size bed or have a bed they want to upgrade?? 

NO way to take it apart and store it??? I would hate to think in a few years you might need it again but you sold it. 

store it where? (tear) I would have to find a place to store it. I need to take a pic of it...it's so pretty, but it is just too big. If I could take it back to the furniture store and get a twin I would in a heart beat. I doubt that is possible. 

I was going to say the same thing, I mean will you be living in the same place for years to come? 

My son is out growing his twin and it BRAND NEW :( but, the frame is. Crappy walmart bed with 3 drawers. I wouldn't feel right trading. How old is your son? 

If you post pix I might trade you for my sons captain bed w/3 drawers I painted boyish blue with a matching armoire with it.

My son is four. I slept in twin forever in my mom's house growing up. I am expecting a girl in July and feel my home will only get smaller for my family. LOL and glitter is right that I will not be always living in the same home. I do doubt I will get my son a big master room which is what he would need to really play and not have that big ole bed in the way. 

Don't you guys have a garage? Man, this is a bummer!!

I really would feel bad about trading though cause mine is a bit older and I had to repaint to make it look good

No it's a little bit lighter blue with no brown on it.

How much did you pay for the bed? For my bed alone without the matching dresser,mirror, and nightstand was 500. That's because of the headboard I guess. I don't see where your headboard is broke. 

The bed frame was about 200 and the new mattress (bought 3 weeks ago) was about $200ish

The problem is the top shelf. :( my freaking husband!!!! Lol I told him to be careful

I did a re-do to the bed rails too. They are not plastic.
