Ok so I went to the dentist and decided to do the professional teeth whitening system...they took molds of my teeth and a week later I got the trays and the bleaching gel. Well I finally started using it and every single time I use them I end up with really bright white spots on my teeth and in some spots it will be streaky white. Has anyone else ever experienced this? I don't know if I'm doing something wrong...I got online and read that it is normal, but the spots are soo bright white I'm worried if I keep whitening my teeth the rest won't get as white. I'm calling the dentist tomorrow, but just thought I'd ask and see what other people experiences were..

Hm, nope, haven't used those! My friend did and had no problems. I use Crest Whitestrips (the old ones are better; new ones make my gums hurt!)

i get the same thing with the whitestrips, but it faded after a day or two. I also use the prohealth extra whitening.

I did the bleaching twice, and I've never had that problem. You may have a little less anamel in some areas on your teeth. Definately, talk with your dentist.

I had those too, they went away.

It's normal. They will go away. Just be sure you're not putting too much of the bleaching material in the trays. If it gets on your gums it will burn and irritate them a lot. White spots on your gums are not good at all.
