What does a six week pregnant person get from wic? The question was asked and now I am curious.

Mrs. Tiki --- 13 years ago -

fruits, veggies, milk, bread, eggs and cereal

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

I'll let you know when I find out lol

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

That is if I find out..

whatevergirlツ --- 13 years ago -

I'll let you know when I find out lol

I am not pregnant and nor do I need wic. You asked for info so I was curious what possibly a 6 week pregnant woman gets from them they couldn't get themselves.

21andSENILE --- 13 years ago -

mrs tiki said it all...or you can reaquest soy milk and tofu

Hollyer Than Thou --- 13 years ago -

Being on WIC with no born child is ridiculous.

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

And I said I'd let you know. What's wrong with that? People get on WIC when they "need" it! I'd much rather have a healthy baby that not get help so thanks! And yes it does matter considering when I'm not sick I eat ALL the food in the house lol

whatevergirlツ --- 13 years ago -

Like I said before I was curious what you would get at 6 weeks.

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

Okay

Melissa --- 13 years ago -

Lock the thread before you get bashed for asking a WIC question.

You should be able to afford food while pregnant, so why use the WIC now?

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

How could I do that if I didn't plan on getting pregnant? And no I didn't actually I thought I couldn't get it unless I wasn't married

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

Again if it wasn't planned then it was never thought of, but don't worry the kid WILL be taken great care of!

Hollyer Than Thou --- 13 years ago -

Ya thanks to WIC. God bless America.

Jay Elle --- 13 years ago -

WIC pays for formula yes, but the main purpose of the program is to make sure the woman is eating properly and is taking care of herself while pregnant, and then when baby is born, to help make sure both mommy and baby are properly nourished. It does get abused unfortunately, but there are those that actually need it.

Dannymiles --- 13 years ago -

I really think WIC has made you an Infant in the sense that look, I'm using my parents for shit i need. Grow up Kthxbye.

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

Yea right you're acting like I already have it or something. Checking up on it is not the same thing. I'm going to see if we qualify so what...if I decide to get it after that then I will.

Hollyer Than Thou --- 13 years ago -

Forgive me for still believing that hard work pays off. I prefer to be independent of the system...

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

I agree but more than half of the time I'm so sick I can't do anything. Literally nothing! So how exactly am I suppose to go to work everyday?

Dannymiles --- 13 years ago -

You know what gives me gratitude? The fact that fat women with no life milk the government system because it convenience's there income.

Dannymiles --- 13 years ago -

You know what how about taking a straw and suck it up.

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

I'm not fat and I don't know any fat women on WIC just saying! Lets put it this way I am going to check up on it and if we get it then whoo hoo big deal. Either way butt out thanks its over bye

Jay Elle --- 13 years ago -

While that's awesome that you have that choice, most people that are on WIC do not. They have WIC, because they need it in order to properly care for their pregnant bodies and infants. You are saying that women that are poor, or single parents, shouldn't make sure they're eating properly? You would rather have your pride then care for your growing fetus? No. When you are in that situation, you take help that is available. You would do the same thing.

Taminator --- 13 years ago -

Force yourself to eat and stay plenty hydrated and then suck it up like so many women have done before you. Imagine that.

I worked in a warehouse and was sick almost my whole pregnancy! It was horrible, I swear I had super sonic smelling while I was pregnant. I could smell the tape on the boxes and I dont even want to think about the smells of all the dusty gear...I promise ladies I will use birth control for the rest of my life lol

Lula Belle --- 13 years ago -

You pay my taxes for now I won't be here long so don't you worry about that, and yes you will because what some lady I don't even know says doesn't matter to me at all so keep talking if you wish just know you're wasting your breath and your time. Now this is the last time I'll say it GOODBYE (:

LOLOLOLOLOL TOOL!

Jay Elle --- 13 years ago -

The Love Birds, are you getting on WIC JUST BECAUSE you qualify?

I know there are people that abuse welfare, but more often then not people are on it because it is necessary
