We just came from there. Try www.hawaiimilitarywives.com/board it was a lifesaver while there:) for buying selling i used craigslist and sold a ton:)and found a ton. Good luck;) 

If you live on base just drive around looking for free stuff on the curbs, you can literally walk from 1 side of kbay to the other in 45 min

Hi retta! Whats the housing/base like over there? We will be moving there in November. Did you get housing right away? Im really stressing about moving over there!! 

we are in temp lodging on base.. the housing wait is 2-6mths! they said it is subj to change.. sucks staying in a 1br apt w/ 4 ppl, but being in hawaii makes up for it. we drove around and the houses look nice (most of them) and the ocean is mins from anywhere. i love it here so far, except for the living arrangments. maybe i will see you around! 

when you move to hawaii and you have pets what do you have to do when you move? do you have to find them a new home? or just fly them their with you?
