I am debating whether we should move on base or not...any opinions? 

My son goes to North Terrace and i love his teacher. He is in K.

my kids went to north terrace and santa margarita. i have to say i like santa margarita better, the pricipal was amazing. mrs. kurtz. 

Stuart mesa is the bomb diggity..heheh..LOVE the teacher...and the students are VERY bright might I brag....hehehe 

Mine goes to Mary Fay... I LOVE it! The faculty is awesome and they have such a great principal and vice principal... 

my daughter goes to north terrace.. and i think a lot has to do with the parents.. and the child .. i like it sooo far.. her teacher is great.. we've never really dealt with the principal.. but her teachers have been great so far

Mary Fay is SUCH A GREAT SCHOOL. Anyones kids go to San Onofre school? I live up here now and will be transferring next year....was curious for input.

The principle is retiring, I'm upset, she was so frickin awesome. I know I read this today and I am just so sad, she is the best person taht I have ever met in any school enviroment, whether principal, teacher, ect. I am always amazed at what she does for those kids and I don't think that you will ever find another principal who is honestly in it for the kids and families, I know she will be greatly missed that being said we LOVE Mary Fay and my kids have been in 10 different schools in 8 years and this is the best school we have ever been involved with 

Yep, she helped me out last year. My daughter was a transfer from homeschool (in TX with her step mom) and when we got here and put her in K she was SOOOO far behind (we started her early.) I explained to her that I couldn't afford a pre-school, day care yes, pre-school no so she moved some stuff around and got Addy into Pre-K. Addy is in K this year and kicking butt. I am so grateful to her for that. 

Where will you be living at. My kids go to San Onofre and I like it. 

We moved from Winchester to San Onofre 1 in January but I didn't want to move her during the school year, plus most of her social life is down there, haha (cheerleading) so we just stuck it out. We're set in MF but next year, with the new kiddo and everything else I want to transfer her up here because it's SOOOO much closer, haha.
