I just wash them and then dry immediately... :( Someone told me Lemmeshine though! :) 

Lemi shine and detergent each wash it works great. you can buy the lemi shine at the commissary for like 3.00 and it last me a paycheck i just put it in the closed cup dispenser and my regular dish soap in the open container each time and its awsome

what do you use to get rid of the hard water stains and what not on your dishes? I always just washed them by hand in the sink. They turned out fine.

To get it off you have to soak it in vinegar... Then from now on when you wash your dishes, in the open part put detergent and in the part you close put vinegar... lol, i can't afford rayne... lol

rayne is like 67 a month for 4 people in a household 

And lemishine worked fine without the water softener and i buy like 2 of the powdered thing a month and its like a total of $8 

Lemishine in the dishwasher always worked great for me, without a softener. 

lemmishine works great but you have to use every time. I also had maintenance come out and clean all the calcium build up out of the dishwasher. 

I pay 37 for a household of 4 with rayne water 

have your hubs take the filter off the bottom and bleach it.... it will be filthy because most people don't know to clean it. Also, I used Electrosol tabs and a 1/2 cup of vinegar in each wash. I have black dishes and they were spot-free! 

Also, if you are using liquid soap, look on the back and check the percentage..... make sure its 8% or above.

Don't live on base? It's cheaper to live offbase anyways. Plus you don't have insects, mold and hazardous tapwater to deal with. 

I add distilled vinegar to every load I do in the dishwasher. Not a whole lot, just a cup to a cup and a half or so. It helps keep all my dishes and glassware sparkling. 

I use lemishine. I'm gonna look into rayne. For us it's cheaper to live on base. Even in our apt we had sh1tty water.
