try nail polish remover. my son wrote all over his legs one day and i used nail polish remover

hair spray works on all ink it's a god send and it won't discolor fabric or anything like polish remover 

out of the blinds....my hubby and i had a sharpie fight lol and got some on the blinds and i just want to make sure to tried everything lol if not i was going to paint it lol

Rubbing alchohol. It took black perm. marker out on my chouches and semi white carpet completely.

I gotta agree with the Mr Clean Magic eraser. It gets sharpie out of almost everything, even took it off my couch from when the movers left their markers around. Just don't use it on your skin unless you do NOT have sensitive skin. It leaves you with a burning rash. Not fun. 

My husbands truck got vandalized with permanent marker. He took a dry erase marker and traced over it. Then you wipe it off. I guess the chemicals in the dry erase marker counter act the permanent marker.
