ok what is the best thing to do i have used powder unsented and desitin what else should i do it is really bad

Don't use wipes! When they're that bad, I would use wet wash cloths. And cornstarch! 

have you tried A&D along with powder.. this seems to work really well! 

dont use powder, after the diaper change leave him/her naked a little to dry then put the desitin a thing coat though 

i was also going to say corn starch thats great for diaper rashed 

Nystatin (sp) and zinc oxide... my kids had rashes that bled and this is what the doctor gave to me... usually they combine them in the rash creme but I had to put it on separately 

I totally agree with the washclothes (wipes can burn) and let them air dry for a while

If its really bad and doesnt go away in a couple days you may wanna get em seen cuz it could be a yeast infection and you might have to get a prescription creme 

I have some RX stuff from when my son was sick. I have aquaphore, butt paste, powder with cornstarch, desitin. I have it all! LOL I do have to say the stuff my old ped gave me for when he had a yeast infection and worked better than the RX I had this time for his rash. 

My daughters prescription worked good too. 

i got nystatin creme for under her neck, so i use that when she gets diaper rash. 

i also have tried aquaphor(used that on her face when she had BAD heatrash), desitn and a&d
