Anyone have a good cleaning suggestion? my daughter learned today if u shake her sippy cup hard enought the juice with start coming out. and not theres a stain on the carpet. i tried cleaning it up fast, but it was faster. so now i have little red spots on the carpet.
Baby wipes... I SWEAR... it pulls the red out. Press one on the floor hard. Then pick it up and do it agian on a clean spot on the wipe. Keep doing this until you stop getting red on the wipe. Then just take a clean one and scrub it over the spot.
start buying carpet cleaning sprays next time you are at the store..Lincoln or who ever does the move out will get you good for stains I moved out of serra mesa and we had like 4 spots on the carpet... they really were not that bad.. and we got charge $100 for them
When we were in Serra Mesa there was green paint in a kids room, that was there before us. We wrote it down, they tried to get us, but showed them the paper. Whew.
I was happy when I moved to Stuart Mesa... whole house had new carpeting
In Serra Mesa... the living room carpet was awful...it was so nasty and worn from the last however many families lived on it before us... I hope they replaced it
we got commented on how nice our carpet looked with having a toddler when we moved out last month in Serra Mesa.
Thats awesome...
When we moved in the living room carpet was so dingey (sp?) had bleach stains on it and some dark stains
it should have been replaced after the people who lived in it before us
the spots I was charged for were upstairs, and I could have easily cleaned them myself, but i was in a rush to be done with that house and was too pregnant and tired to care LOL
I have to deal with a husband who spills pepsi, chocolate milk and strawberry milk, along with my toddler lol(juice)
Nice LOL its like having one really grow up kid
we only had one chance to clean, something happened w/ our paperwork and we never got a pre-inspection just final. my son actually tried to clean the carpets himself oneday, or tried to do something.. LoL, he got a whole bottle of hair shampoo and poured it in his closet... lol.. i bet they had some bubbles when they did the move out move in cleaning... haha
Folex-Instant Carpet Spot Remover. Works wonder for set in stains. Spray it on, let it set in for a few minutes, blot with a towel and carpet is as good as new! You can buy a bottle at the 7 day store or the commissary for around $5. I love this stuff!

Not change the subject much, but does everyone have renter insurance with USAA, because all you have to do is fill a claim and it's taken care of. My friend moved from deluz to wire mountian a few years back and USSA paid for the carpet to be replaced, well they just moved out of wire mountian to go back home and USAA paid for that carpet to be replaced. Also they cover your household goods intransit weather you do a dity or tmo move. I filled a claim for a rocking/recliner chair that got broken on a dity move and now my hubby has a new rocking/recliner chair.
I dont know if you found yr solution yet but I use Blue dawn, a white towel, and an iron. Mix the dawn with soem water and scrub it into the stain then place the white towel (it only has to be white so that you can see the stain coming up) over the stain scrubbed with dawn and place the iron over the towel for like 10 seconds and WA LA..... keep repeating until the stain comes up. Hope that this helps.

i agree it even got the color from a candle out of the carpet when one got knocked over. the iron thing works for getting wax out of the carpet too!
