What's your favorite wine? I'm looking for a new one. I don't like dry wines. I love Moscato and am working on a bottle of Winter White. I'm wondering what else is out there without going through the trial and error and buying it, tasting it, and not liking it.
I'm not usually a fan of sweet wines, but if you like Moscato, you should try Stella Rosa. They carry it at BevMo. It's so yummy! It smells and tastes like rose petals. My hubby calls it sex in a bottle. LOL
Ohhh, sounds good ladies! I've tried Lambrusco and I didn't like it because it's bubbly. I have a bad azz 3.5 year old and I don't need anything to get in the way of me and my alcohol. Lol
Just fyi, the Stella Rosa has a tiny bit of fizz at first, but if you don't like that, just pour a glass & let it sit in the fridge for 10 mins before drinking.

Ok, that's fine. Some brands of Moscato have a little fizz. The Lambrusco tastes like grape pop to me!
Try a Gewurztraminer. That's a good sweeter white wine. No bubbles and not as sweet as a dessert wine, but very good.
If you like reds at all (or even if you don't usually) you should really try my 2 faves. I was not a red drinker until I had these wines. First is called Red Velvet from Cupcake Vineyards. It's a teeny bit sweet and so smooth. You should also try a wine called Sofa King Bueno. It really is as good as the name implies. ;)
If anyone lives out in Temecula/Murrieta, you should totally check out Dudley's Wine Bar. It's a wine store on Murrieta Hot Springs with a little bar in the back. They do really inexpensive tastings on Friday & Saturday nights.
The owner is former USMC (an amtracker for those who know what that is) and is so sweet and funny. He really makes everyone feel comfortable. It's great if you want to learn about wine in a very casual, non-intimidating environment.
Pomagrante, elderberry, or blackberry...are all fabulous must tries...i usually find them at Henry's. Also pinot grigo is great..I Like to add a little fresh pineapple to my pinot grigo for a nice added flavor.
Castello del Poggio Moscato d'Asti Castello del Poggio Moscato is made from the muscat grape and originates from the Piedmont region of Italy. This wine, which means Castle on a Hill, is lightly sparkling, with lush notes of apricot and honey. On its own or paired with a dessert, the wine offers a sweet finish to any meal.
It's also on the wine list at Olive Garden, a great indication that a wine is a great value and is enjoyed by many people.
If you buy it AT olive garden they sell it for 23 or something close, but if you find out at the store for $10
