Well, ill chock some responses up to people not knowing how my MIL is. Other than that, I think well go with not telling her if he called me unless she asks. Thanks for the advice .

That's what I told him. He doesn't want to hurt her feelings, but I think it'll hurt her feelings more if he lets her think he'll be calling often.

Exactly. It's not him pushing for the calls, its her. Me and him are on agreement our family comes first.
